Pillar 3 of 3 · Get Booked

Get Booked: turn calls into jobs, and count every one.

A tracking number on your profile, a short script for answering, and one report a month in calls and booked jobs. Never clicks or impressions.

What is call tracking for a local business?

It's a phone number that forwards to your normal line and counts every call that came from your Google profile, so you can see exactly what being found brings in.

We pair it with the Booking Script, a short guide for answering those calls so more of them become booked jobs, and a monthly report that puts it all on one page.

What you get

  • A call-tracking number on your Business Profile that forwards to your phone.
  • The Booking Script: what to say, what to ask, and how to book the job on the first call.
  • A monthly report: calls, booked jobs, cost per booked job, new reviews, and what we changed.
  • Later, for existing clients: Google Local Services Ads, then Google Search Ads.

Why answering fast matters

Being found only pays if someone picks up. Two published findings we take seriously:

21 times

The odds of qualifying a lead drop 21 times between a 5-minute and a 30-minute response.

60 times

Businesses that responded within an hour were 60 times likelier to qualify the lead than those that waited a day.

How we measure it

Calls and cost per booked job

How many calls came in, how many became booked jobs, and what each booked job cost you in fees and ad spend. One page, every month.

One page, every month

No dashboard to log into and no words to look up. Plus a short call each month where you tell us which calls became jobs.

Later: Local Services Ads and Search Ads

Once your profile and reviews are working, existing clients can add Google Local Services Ads, where Google charges per lead, and later Google Search Ads. The ad budget is always yours, paid directly to Google.

What you do

  1. Answer calls, or return them the same day.

  2. Tell us which calls became booked jobs, so the cost per booked job is real.

  3. Use the Booking Script, and tell us where it doesn't fit.

The questions we get asked.

Will a tracking number hurt my listing?

No, when it's set up properly. The tracking number goes on as your main number and your real number stays on as an additional number, so your listings still match everywhere.

Who owns the tracking number?

It works for you while we work together, and if we stop, it transfers to you along with every account we set up. Your callers never have to learn a new number.

Do you run my ads?

Not at first. Local Services Ads come after the sprint, for existing clients, and Google Search Ads later still. The ad budget is always paid by you, straight to Google.

What counts as a booked job?

A call or form that turned into a scheduled job, as you confirm it to us. That's the number we report, never clicks or impressions.

Start with the audit, not the call.
